Applied Kinesiology (AK)
Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a diagnostic tool utilised to assess specific changes in muscle function. Combining changes in muscle function and correlations with traditional orthopaedic testing and physical examination, we are able to help improve the outcome for our patients.
By monitoring changes to muscles after applying a force to them, we are able to obtain more information about the causing factors of aches and pains. AK can assist in detecting whether the problem is stemming from structural, physiological or neurological origin.
